We were so happy to find such a unique and excellent lunch venue in Bothell. We had duck confit and wild boar ragu, both beautifully presented and expertly prepared. There is a good wine list and local beers on tap, and the owners clearly care about their food and their guests.

At our last visit (Aug 2016) we were informed that there's no longer a separate Ale House and Eatery menu. We were shown the Preservation Kitchen menu in the bar. Would now consider this listing obsolete.

If you are looking for a place with a good selection of beers and plenty of seating, the Ale House is your place. There is no food at all served in this restaurant. They do offer a very relaxed atmosphere and allow you to bring food into the their place. Some of our group ordered pizza which was delivered. We... More

While my family and I enjoy going out weekly, this was our first time to the Ale House and the food was really good. We sat on the porch and the service could have been better. The waitress left us alone and should have checked on us more often. We would have orders more drinks and desert. I got one... More

We came for dinner and drinks during Happy Hour and we not disappointed. My husband and daughter had beers I had a Martini. Our dinner was delicious but out server was busy and not very attentive or we would have had more drinks.

Great food, good service, great for families. Homemade potato chips are a must. Love the pub menu which offers some delicious alternatives to the standard pub menu.

My wife and I drove specifically to check this place out. Good reviews, etc. however we showed up on a Wednesday night at 7:30 pm. The place was half empty and they had like 4 people working. We sat at the bar and the bartender was covering half the restaurant handling 14 tables. Took 15 min to get a beer.... More

My wife and I stayed at a nearby hotel and were hungry. I looked on Google Maps, and we found the Ale House. Good selection of beer, and the food was tasty. I had the mussels and burger sliders, both very good! We didn't know Bothell was a college town until we saw all the University of Washington Husky jerseys!... More

Good food, good beer on tap. The Ale House burger is a knife and fork burger IMHO, it's that large. If you want simple non fussy American fare, this is your place.
