I know...I was VERY hesitant because Seattle has many of the best and who in Chelan would have the necessary skills? It was fantastic! Pleasant atmosphere for 2 - large group dining. Service was prompt and friendly. We had Thai Pineapple Fried Rice, Shrimp with Cashew Nuts and Mushroom Broccoli. The presentation was beautiful. I was also hesitant to order... More

Went to dinner at Bamboo Shoot. Between us we ordered the fried spring rolls w/ chicken, the Chicken Satay, and a huge bowl of Chiang Mai Noodles. The peanut sauce for the Chicken Satay was one of the better sauces we have had, and we've tried many. The Noodle dish could easily be shared between two. Perhaps a little heavy... More

Chelan was a surprise with how expensive eating out was but Bamboo shoots took the prize for just pain terrible food. Out of the 8 dishes we ordered for our group to share, two were good, 2 were ok and 4 were just flavorless or bad. Bummer...

We enjoy dining at the Bamboo Shoot and go often. We've tried many of their menu items over the years and find that we enjoy them all. We particular like the Pad See Ew and Panang Curry. The Bamboo Shoot is never too busy for some reason, which always puzzles us as we've had nothing but great experiences here. The... More

After a day of swimming, we were hungry and craving Thai food. This place did the job and the price wasn't too bad either.

Called into the Bamboo Shoot for dinner a couple of nights ago. Food here is okay and I think a bit expensive for what it is. The dinner was not very authentic Asian (I have tralvelled extensively throughout SE Asia many times) and has been Americanised to what they think people want. This is unfortunate as it definitely loses something... More

I discovered this restaurant four years ago and make it a must do on my annual travel to a conference in Lake Chelan. The Hibachi table is ala Benihana with the excellent chef a master at cooking and theatre. My friends and I have spent many great hours there and I recommend it for diners of all ages.

Food was ok. I have had better; I have had worse. I belive they would be better to move from "Asian Fusion" and pick a cuisine and go with it.

We were looking for a restaurant that had vegan/vegetarian options and this one did so we decided to try it. We enjoyed our meals. The service was very good. Portions were just right. The prices matched the quality. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a veg meal.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. First time was back in 2010 so we decided to give this a try again. But nothing has changed. they are always short on staff. Atleast the food was ok the last time around. This time, it was not even worth the wait. First, there is a long wait... More
