Would recommend Sunday Brunch buffet or coffee and pie spot. We had a gathering of 6 women - 3 ordered chicken dishes and were not thrilled - overdone, cold and tough chicken. 1 had turkey dinner (enough for 2-3 people) with ALL the trimmings, she took enough home for a second meal. One ordered fish and it was also overdone.... More

Kind of like an old-fashioned diner. Good service. My PNW salmon dinner was excellent--full salmon dinner, with baked potato, veggies, plus salad, all for $15. Very good homemade pies. Also, there is a senior menu with dinners for about $10. Place is a little tired, carpets likely should be replaced and the bathrooms totally redecorated.

I come here for the pie. They have homemade pies and if you like tart and sweet you must try the Devonshire pie, it's got cream cheese and then raspberry top. they sell by the slice or whole pie.

This place really caters to the more "mature" diners who like their meat and potatoes. Nice staff. I had fish and chips to go. meh.

Breakfast was good in the past. Pies have always been good. Unfortunately we won't be back. Similar to eating in a retirement home.

I go here every few years, and it has been always for breakfast. My last visit was absolutely bad. I am generally very forgiving, but it may have been the worst breakfast I have eaten in over 10 years or more. The service was fine, and our waitress seem to know the regulars there - but almost seem way too... More

I can only speak for their pies. Pie, to be exact. Their Raspberry Devonshire pie has always been a family favorite. They have so many other delicious looking pies (Turtle, Hawaiin, etc) but I just can't bring myself to break away from the heavenly devonshire to try them. My husband and I did finish our date night tonight with a... More

During our most recent visit to Des Moines Creek Restaurant aka "Tuscany at Des Moines Creek" (quite a mouthful) - we noticed the business is for sale. I think this would explain the inconsistencies in some of the quality of our meal today. Our Sunday visit was a party of 4. Two of us had the Brunch Buffet for $13.99.... More
