We've been eating breakfast here on a regular basis, so that's all I can rate. we always get the sausage, veggie omelette. We appreciate how the veggies are always very fresh, and the one omelette is plenty for two adults to split. It's not fancy, sometimes can be a little loud if it's crowded, but the food never disappoints.

Best locals restaurant in town. Avoid 11:30a - 1:30p 'cause it is always FULL with customers. Menu is avail all day.

Breakfast is served all day (always a plus in my book). Fabulous soups and buttery sandwiches. Just a great "greasy spoon" full of locals. Pretty much the best hash-browns I've ever had. 'nuff said.

Not fancy, but really good. Breakfast all day (a hit with the kiddos), great soups - from scratch, some specialty menu items, but mostly stuff you would recognize. There is a bar in the back, but if you want a cocktail, you can order one at your table. Nice atmosphere. Breakfast items are on par with other diners: omelettes about... More

What I like about the Freeland Cafe is the menu that mixes traditional diner fare with Hawaiian Islands style cookery. You can get a decent burger, Portuguese Sausage with rice and beans, or a Loco Moco, which is an experience you will not soon forget and one your arteries will not soon forgive. The quality of the food is average,... More

Family breakfast was delicious. The pancakes were especially good. Service was at first distracted but made a quick and friendly recovery when missing items were pointed out. Everything was tasty, and portions were generous. Recommended.

We stopped in for lunch on our recent visit to Whidbey Island. As many local eateries are closed on Mondays, it was one of the few places that was open. Quaint, old school diner with cheap, good eats. Wife had an egg salad sandwich and I had a chiliburger. Both were delightful. Prompt service and funky decor. Loved it.

We like the breakfasts at the Freeland Cafe and sometimes we even like their breakfasts for dinner. Good solid food, country diner ambience, good prices. Certainly not fancy but good food.

Mostly populated by locals, a variety of standard American food, generous portions. Housed in an old drive-in building. Now a restaurant in front and a bar in the back. There is a parking space.
