My first visit to this historic place was not pleasant at all. The atmosphere is great. Food was not cooked to order even though I requested it and specified well done numerous times. You have to play to split shakes and food...$3.50 on top of a $7 shake. The only time the server came back was to pick up the... More

This is the place to go in Issaquah for dates and family outings. The food is phenomenal, the milkshakes and rootbeer floats are to die for, and the decor is literally made by the people of Issaquah who go there. The food can be a bit pricey, and the only take cash, but they have an on-site ATM and the... More

This was a very interesting and cool place because of the old school rock feel. We ordered to go and I thought my food was ok but my girlfriend food looked real good. I only said my food was ok because I ordered to go. I'm pretty sure if I would have ate there it would have been better but... More

I gave this place a second chance because I like the decor and wanted a nostalgic memory. Hamburgers precooked and hamburger lukewarm. French fries hot and good. Rootbeer very good. The bathrooms were dirty. I felt ill 10 minutes after eating the hamburger. I recommend Johnny Rockets if you want the soda fountain experience. Their hamburgers are much better. The... More

This is one of the last real ICONs of the wonderful 50's, complete with Juke Box, a plethora of decorations wihich are added to by the locals of all ages. It is truly a museum with the most tasty sandwiches, fries, shakes and of course the best rootbeer you can find anywhere!

Bring cash, they don't take cards. Order their delicious root beer, it's a must. And you can't go wrong with anything you order, it's all delicious. Be sure to have a huge appetite!

Good rootbeer. Fun car and truck shows. Horrible food. The rootbeer and vehicles are worth it. But arrive after eating lunch somewhere else.

This is such a great local treasure - the owners are huge community supporters and host many theme auto-shows throughout the summer. The burgers are huge, the shakes so yummy and they make you feel special on your birthday. Please support this local business - they are one of a kind! (Oh, and of course, get a rootbeer float -... We probably eat here 4-6 times per year. Fun atmosphere, big burgers (eat your pride and share), and great floats. You need to do it at least once and then again once your stomach can handle it. Oh - and BTW, bring cash - they don't take plastic.

Thank Darren J
