Not to be missed when in Kirkland. This is the best Japanese restaurant we've been in in a long time. Dont be put off by the strip mall location, this is the real deal. Freshest fish, large sashimi cuts, friendly, fast service, delicious flavorings. Family-run. Highest recommendation.

Finally visited Momoya Sushi, many friends had recommended going there. The Sushi was wonderful. Service was great. Owner's son Benny was attentive and friendly. We will definitely return soon!

Momoya is a very small family owned and run sushi restaurant. Dad is the sushi chef and adult children have various roles and responsibilities. Our favorite roll is the Lobster Roll. When they have Hamachi Belly it is worth ordering. If you order take out, order before 6:30p as I find that ordering after 6:30 doubles the wait time from... More

It was one of my first Japanese food experiences, and I couldn't be happier with it. I lived in Kirkland for a while as a kid and the servers were always very kind and courteous. I remember an older lady making me a set of chopsticks that had rubber-bands and paper at the ends to make it easier for my... More

This place offer the best sushi we had in the Seattle area! We do prefer the regular sushi, but they also have a large selection of roll that are very good too. It is a small place and the service can be a little slow when it is full, but everybody is very friendly, and food's great !

Momoya. It is a small family-owned place, friendly, and with good fresh fish. Sushi grade fish ain't cheap, but what the restaurant saves on rent you get passed on to you in fine meals. The chirashi and sashimi are good; the pieces are large (at least two or three bites per slice). Not your average hole-the-wall sushi place. North 85th... More

A friend introduced me to Momoya and I keep coming back. I've tried a couple of their rolls and loved them. Their gyoza (potstickers) are fantastic and their tea is exceptional. It's a small dining room and sushi isn't a fast process but it's well worth the wait. If you're in Kirkland and hungry for sushi - skip the waterfront... More

We had the tempura dinner, rainbow roll, and a California roll. I must say it was the freshest tastiest sushi and tempura I have ever had. The prices are a bit high but the portions were large. The help seemed to know the regulars by name and provided good service. The tempura was hot delicates and full of flavor. This... More

We'd thought to try this hole-in-the-wall place after our apartment hunting trip in Kirkland. The food and atmosphere are genuine, quite, and the service was prompt and courteous. Prices for the delectable treats were average but plentiful. I'd recommend this place if you're ever in the area!

I have eaten in this restuarant and ordered take out. The food is good but priced higher than average considering it is in a dingy strip mall.
