I recently took my VP of Sales, Shuzo-san, and we ordered the chef's choice at the sushi bar. Shuzo-san knows sushi & sashimi having been born & raised in Japan. On the way to SeaTac, Shuzo-san waved for over an hour about how delious & quality of our lunch at Izumi. I always recommend Izumi.

We always try to get here right when it opens because it is very popular. My husband's Japanese co-workers come here and highly recommend it. The sushi is delicious and fresh. Even though they are busy, we've never had to wait long, and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. We usually have the sushi and sashimi, but we've seen... More

People being seated in front of our party then left waiting with many open tables. Finally, gave up and ate somewhere else due to incredibly poor service.

Top 9of the line service and sashimi at the bar, saki excellent, plentiful portions, quiet even though full restaurant. I loved it.

Best place I have ever had for spider rolls and toro. The nigiri is nice, large, and thick pieces. A lot of rice though, but delicious. Honestly, I have never had anything else but sushi so I cannot comment on anything else. Get the spider roll no matter what else you order.

I'm so happy this restaurant is in my neighborhood. The food here is very authentic and price is very reasonable. I particularly like their lunch bento and katsu don.

I always know when folks stand in line and are mainly Asian I'm in a good spot. Lots of variety from tempura to sushi rolls, but I had the most delicious sea bass I've ever had here. $21 for just the fish, but I couldn't have been happier. It was perfect. Go early, they open at 5 and there's generally... More

We recently discovered the sushi bar at Izumi and it has become our favorite sushi place. Delicious, big size nigiri! Excellent recommendations from the chef. I have trouble convincing my hubby to go to any other restaurant these days.

Travel for a living. Love sushi - sashimi. Been in a lot of Japanese & sushi restaurants through the years. Shige in Boise is exceptional with a master preparing dishes. Izumi in Kirkland is better. Shito-San is a true master. Fish is always top drawer, preparation excellent. A true gem!!

I had sushi which was freshly made in front of me. It was delicious with big portions of tasty fish. The other plates I saw being made all looked great. Nice staff too.
