This small family owned restaurant is at the top of its game. Friendly service from the moment we entered the door. The food is original like grandma used to make. My go to when nothing else will do.

My wife and I frequently stop by this restaurant. The owner usually is the person that serves. I have always had a great meal. This time was no different. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Lacey.
We had lunch here today. They have the best salsa in the world. Also a very good chicken tortilla soup. Good luck good service.
To start off, the tea tastes like it had been sitting in a metal pitcher for weeks. I mentioned it to the waitress and all I got in return was a shrug. The only meal that was finished.... was a hamburger, everyone else pretty much picked at their food. Not impressed, especially for $50 for three people.
My husband and I came here because we heard from a local that it was great Mexican food. Meh, it was ok. To be honest, it tasted like it had been frozen. The service was extremely friendly though so higher rating for that. Won't be going back though.
Another reviewer remarked that this restaurant is unpretentious, I agree. The proprietor waited on his. He was friendly and attentive. The menu has a wide assortment of traditional Mexican offerings. The food was brought promptly and the portions are generous. This is not fancy dining. It is a comfortable night out. This was a nice alternative to the other Mexican... More
This is a family owned establishment. The owner both cooks and waits tables depending on who is there working. They have the best tortilla soup you will ever have. Very clean and friendly place.
The proprietor often will be your server. The food is of better quality than that at most Mexican restaurants in the area. The seasoning of his carne asada is exceptionally good. Portion size is more than adequate. The ubiquitous chips are served with a really tasty bean dip, as well as with salsa. Service is prompt and friendly. The decor... More
Craving some good Mexican food on a road trip. Can't seem to find a basic beef burrito, beef only, topped and smothered. They have it here! Well, not exactly like home in Colorado but darn close. My husband had the carnitas, moist and delicious. The service was fast and our waiter (owner) was very friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant.... More
