At the function, appetizers and wine were served to the crowd of 25 or so. I could tell the salami was from Salumi in Seattle, some of the best salami on offer in the US. Other appetizers were flavorful and appealing. Several red wines were offered and I assume they were house wines. Very nice. As I left, I noticed... More

This restaurant serves healthy, fresh food in an eclectic but comfortable environment. The food is locally sourced & vegan options are always available. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Perfect meal.

During the summer there is very pleasant outside seating. Inside the restaurant it's dark, heavy on the retro feel- very Rat Pack. I'd eat inside only when on a romantic date- not with family or colleagues, and I'd find it too suggestive for a first date. My porterhouse steak was tough, tough, and lots of gristle. Such a chewy piece... More

We dined as a group of 6 at this small and intimate restaurant downtown near the farmers market. The menu has a lot to offer, and I think between the 6 of us, we had quite an overview. The oysters were so fresh and delicious, the clams wonderful in a very good broth, entrees from fish to steak to pasta... More

The winter and spring rains can wear you down in Olympia, but a great remedy is to have drinks and an organic roasted chicken at The Mark. You have to make a reservation and request a chicken and roasted potatoes (that easily feeds a party of 4) in advance, but it is so worth it. Add a house salad and... More

The Mark is a very intimate place that's open in the evenings Thursday thru Saturday. It has a menu of steak, seafood, chicken and pasta, with various crafted drinks. We've always received excellent service and wonderful food. There most interesting item is a whole roasted chicken, cooked over apple wood. You do need to reserve this dinner because it is... More

As most reviews may suggest, going to the Mark is unlike going to any other restaurant or bar in Olympia. Why? It is intentional and fresh. The intimate, sophisticated space invites you in with candlelit tables and enticing cocktail, antipasti, dessert, and dinner menus. Perfect for a date, drinks with friends, business dinner, birthday party, or even a good book...... More

Oh it was the perfect day for this. Rainy. Stormy. So cozy inside. The martini was excellent. The mussels however were way too salty. I'd read a review of them saying the same, but I ordered them anyway. Silly me. The flavor of the broth was outstanding. The best ever. Just way, way too salty. It ruined the whole dish.... More

Wide range of cocktails, which they specialize in, but if you try to order food it's another story..they never want to serve you. Either the cook is off, they aren't serving right now, or they are too busy to serve food and will not take an order. What kind of restaurant is that. Atmosphere is cool and funky, so if... More
