So glad we made the detour. It's a small unassuming place with a nice selection of light lunch items - paninis, soup, stew etc. perfect on a cold rainy day. Side salad with the Palma panini was small but had a great balsamic dressing.

Lunch today at 208 Garfield was very. Two of us had a smoked turkey panini, one a grilled cheese sandwich with lingonberry sauce and one had a ham panini. We also split an order of lefsa and there was a bowl of yellow split pea soup. The split pea soup was simply amazing! Other menu items had a distinct Scandinavian... More

Brought a college student here for brunch. It was good food, to say the least. The atmosphere is casual and the servings were not large, but we truly enjoyed it all.

This is such a sweet spot for lunch, a chat, meeting family or friends. The lunch menu is so wonderful. Our party sampled both soups, and both are excellent. Their salads are consistently fresh, and topped with a house-made balsamic vinaigrette that's better than the usual you find elsewhere. My friends had grilled panini's that they swooned over; and the... More

So many good things I don't know where to begin. The food is all delicious even though it is at the top end of the "price point" for what you get. They have excellent beverages from Coffee and Tea to beer and wine. Modern atmosphere and very cozy...

My friend recommended this spot for lunch and we were both happy! The home made soups are fabulous and I ordered a panini that was cheesy melted goodness with a side of salad to boot! I'll definitely be back for more!

208 is the sort of place you can visit several times a week and be fully satisfied. Just the right size portions, amazingly low prices, and a big and rich wine and beer list. Worth a drive.

We have been there twice for lunch. First time service was awful but food was so good we had to try it again. So first time it was during lunch rush 12:45pm. Person working the counter tapped her nails the whole time we were ordering like we weren't fast enough for her. They were out of water glasses so she... More

I've been to 208 several times over the years. Over time, their menu has improved. My favorite treats are the beet salad with ladysmith cheese and the kale salad (sans bacon). I didn't use to like their coffee, but it must have changed. The last mocha I had there was delicious! If you're looking for a cozy place with some... More

This place is our new favorite! Budget friendly, foodie friendly, family friendly, and just plain friendly! 208 Garfield is the kind of place that I would go for date night, but it was perfect for family night before Fantasy Lights too. My kids loved that they could choose from salad or gummy bears for the side to their grilled cheese... More
