We traveled from Whidbey Island to Port Townsend to have lunch and coffee at one of our favorite coffee/lunch places called Better Living through Coffee. This is such a unique location right on the beach and its inexpensive to boot. The atmosphere reminds me of University days many years ago where we would find a lovely location surrounded by lots... Stopped in recently for my first visit. What a view! Stellar water view! Unique and cool single drip method of making their drip coffee. Good food too! I'll be back :)

Friendly artsy vibe. This place is right on the water and has huge windows with a beautiful view. Their coffee is fantastic and the berry pie is delicious. We also enjoyed their chowder. I even found a few pieces of sea glass on the little patch of beach just outside their door.

Let me start by saying parking is tricky here...few spots for a popular place in a busy area so if you're disabled you might have finding something close by. The menu's healthy and simple with everything made fresh including many vegetarian options. I've tried the salads, soups, salmon, coffee, and some baked goods. The atmosphere is simple with a nice... Excellent coffee selections and a variety of tasty treats in a cozy environment on the water in Port Townsend. They really know what they're doing with their coffee! Free wifi, accessibility. With a friendly staff this is easily the top coffee shop in the area.

Good coffee, with local baked goods handmade on the premises using local and organic ingredients. If you like home baked pastries, pies and quiches, this is the place. Salads too. My fave is the salmon. Limited menu, but what they have is super delicious. FANTASTIC water view, intimate seating, get things to go and sit outside on the beach.

Imagine this… you have just spent the last 72 hours sopping wet hiking through the truest beauty known to man – Olympic National Park – you're on your way back down to Port Townsend looking to refuel. Grab a fuel canister from the local outfitter and slide on in to this little gem. Coffee is taken very seriously pretty much... More

Great place to sit and watch the ferries, boaters and kayakers and have a high quality cup of coffee or tea. They offer every kind of milk for lattes or mochas from soy to hemp to oat, which is a plus. Must admit that the baked goods don't look particularly appealing but have never tasted any.

View is spectacular as you can drink coffee while looking at the boats go by. They have recently upgraded their food offering to include quiche, pies and cookies
