Had lunch with my wife here and was surprised and impressed by the quality of the food and the attention to detail that was apparent in the food preparation. My wife's salad was meticulously prepared and all of our food had a gourmet finish that I was not expecting in this pub atmosphere. The pretzel was the best pretzel we've... More

My daughter and I happened upon this place while shopping in Poulsbo. The food is very delicious and staff very friendly. We recently took my husband and he loved it! We usually go to Leavenworth once a year (to ski) and to eat good German cuisine and now we don't have to drive as far for good German food!

There's a story here. We wound up in Poulsbo not knowing much beyond the name of the town, and went downtown. We looked at 3 or 4 restaurants that were pretty much empty, and wandered upstairs to this little pub, which was chock full of people eating and drinking. Yes, it was indeed a good sign. The brat came with... More

We stopped here for lunch on a foray into downtown Poulsbo. On the second floor of a building that houses a specialty shop on the first floor, it is very rustic. The entrance is down a short alley. Service was very good and timely. Our waiter kept my water glass full, which is important to me. After just returning from... More

Enjoyed a relaxing Saturday afternoon lunch with friends. The pickled herring on the Scandinavian Platter appitzer was the best this midwesterner has ever had. Nice selection of regional and national beers. Good service. Friendly waitstaff.

This was part of impromptu anniversary tour to the peninsula and could not have chosen a better place for lunch. We both had schnitzel and spatzle and it was sooooooooo good! The portion could have easily been shared. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. We were looking for a place to stay and the waitress knew everything about the... More

This Is a really fun place with great customers and a great staff. I tried the sausage sample plate, a couple different types of beer and the German wine, as well as a mushroom plate. The sausage plate came with the three different types of mustard. Awesome

You climb a steep set of stairs off an ally on Front Street to get there and are greeted with a good view of Poulsbo and the Olympic Mountains. The decor is kind of funky, not at all glamorous. The food was excellent once it got there, but it took 40 minutes for basic lunch fare. They weren't busy either,... More

The cover photo here couldn't be a serious representation of this so-called Europub. Whomever submitted this photo changed our mind about eating here again. In a town that pretends to be Norwegian, why would this establishment try to sell themselves as European? This photo is nothing that would be on the menu any place in Europe.

We stopped here expecting authentic German foods, food was ok just not a great as we expected. They do have a nice selection of beers, even some german ones on tap. One down side is we sat near the bar and a very noisy bachelor party pub crawl arrived, they should have moved us.
