My husband ordered takeout from here while the kids and I stayed in our hotel room across the street. Excellent food, but we thought that it was a bit on the pricey side.

We didn't enjoy our dining experience here at all. Waited quite a while for "cold food"? We thought it would be a good place to eat authentic Mexican food but was surprised at the quality and service here.

There was no atmosphere. A few booths and tables scattered about against each wall with a wide open, empty space between. Two tv monitors--one with football, the other HGTV--volume competing. Cheap, free beer signs on some walls. The booth we sat in was gross--food crumbs on the seats and dried food stains on the wall. The server was friendly but... More

We were dead tired after riding on the motorcycle all day and this restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel. Very welcoming manager/owner and his pre-teen age son helping serve. Not much on atmosphere but made it up in quality of the food.

Good size portions of typical Mexican food prepared in America. Nothing unique. The margarita was from a mix and not very good. Chips were a bit stale but the salsa was very good. Pico de Gallo was made fresh and very good. Service was quick and friendly.

El Rancho Alegre has great Mexican food. I love the tostadas, and my husband loves the burritos. This has become a place we go about once a week. It's fast and the food is always food.

Food and service was so so. They did not have local wines on hand even though their menu said they did.

Ordered chilli releno's and a combination plate od chimi & a chilli releno. Food was Luke warm, rice was dry, and chili releno's by far the worst we have ever had! The chili in this dish was barely existent. Chimi was not the best, meat dry and cold. The only good thing was the beans and chips and salsa. Now... More

We ordered food for four people, to go .... one childs qeesodilla (excuse the spelling), two regular quesadillas and a nacho plate. Portions were large enough whete we could have ordered far less. Everything was tasty. The restaurant, itself, had a very nice outdoor patio area.
