Awesome little gem outside the big city. I like that they won't seat you until your entire world table arrives, first come first served ... and man do they serve. Great service, great food, lively atmosphere. I will be back.

A warm welcoming steak house. Best steak in town. Weekly specials. Wonderful historical bar. Always busy so make reservations. Medium wine list. Friendly and knowledgable staff.

This is a little looking steakhouse that was once a hotel and tavern. The atmosphere inside is really comfortable and the food was spectacular. Make sure to make reservations on Open Table because it's not very big and you may have to wait a while.

Melrose has the best steaks around at a reasonable price! Tender, juicy, tasty & cooked perfectly! The service is A-1. The wine list is great. The berry crisp and strawberry shortcake desserts are heavenly!

I'm just a customer. Have no way of helping secure a table. Check the website for the reservation number.

Description
Renton’s Finest Foods Since 1901! * Steakhouse voted #1 Western WA in 2010 * Affordable high quality menu *Historic Landmark in Renton The building in which the Melrose Grill resides was established in 1901 and has served as a tavern since the days of the horse and buggy. It also operated as a pool hall, soda shop and card room during Prohibition. Recently restored, Melrose Grill kept its historic roots with the original mirror-backed bar with its rich, dark woods. The walls showcase vintage photos that highlight the transitions this grand building has gone through. With wainscoting on the walls, low-slung lamps and high ceilings the space feels as open as the West was when it was built. The Food and Service at Melrose Grill will amaze and delight your senses. We work hard to provide our customers with the finest foods available, and prepare them in a way that will tame even most particular palate. Voted #1 Steakhouse in Western WA by King 5 & Evening Ma.
