Good food. Smaller dinner portions. It's pretty busy so reservations are recommended. Dinner for 2 was $85 and we left hungry. Waiter was ok but didn't see him much.

I really wanted to like the lodge. It's got a lovely location and the lobby looks like one of the national park lodges. It has a sort of funky, old-style atmosphere that I liked. But I was there for lunch and there's only so much that atmosphere can do. I've been there three times, having lunch in the restaurant. Each... More
Champagne Brunch was great! Dinner was just ok, very few vegetarian options. Noisy room that doesn't capture the warm feeling of the rest of the property but it has a beautiful view of the Columbia. Very friendly and attentive wait staff.
Ate breakfast here the service was great thanks (Mary Sue). Food was good I think a little pricy ($35 for 2 breakfasts and coffee and juice) The view was amazing.
There is always something surprising on the menu. Sunday Buffet is excellent and very filling. The view is on the Columbia River. Extremely soothing spot to dine
Had breakfast and dinner and each experience was terrific. Menu had plenty of options and our server was so professional and pleasant to assist. I think her name was Joleene and she was a delight and really added to our dining experience. Thank you for hiring such qualified staff.
My wife and I ate here a couple of times while at a retreat. The good: * breakfast was really good * servers are friendly * the view of the mountains thru the dining room windows is incredible. The bad: * it took a little longer to get a table than I would have thought * the lunch was not... More
In addition to the delicious (box lunch) sandwiches to go, and a superb, hot, and quick breakfast to get you going in the AM....then you have the chocolate cake and local red wine after dinner!! Truly Wow!
We will travel up the Columbia Gorge to eat at Skamania Lodge several times a year. We find that the food and service is always good and the view is spectacular. Whether you eat in the lounge or dining room I think you will enjoy the meal. The lodge and grounds are also very very nice. We have spent the... More
The room is very comfortable with natural lighting and wide open views of the Columbia River and adjacent landscape. The food is very good. Service was uneven when we were there at the end of December 2016. Slow initial service after seating. Some waiters were terrific (especially Tom on the evening of 12/30), but others were unattentive and disinterested. We'd... More
