The Swiss is a great venue. An historic wooden bar in one room, a game room in another. Great choice in band that play there. For bar food they have a wide selection of food, reasonably priced and reasonably portioned.

Cool old brick building with beautiful interior. The wait staff was absolutely incredible! We wanted to have a date night with dinner and live music. The food was great...then the band started and everyone was dancing, great vibe, no drama! The waitstaff kept everyone's drinks full and happy! Way more than we expected, this place is super fun!! Please try... More

The food is as expected for tavern type of place. Pretty good variety of items. We have been there a few times and it has been consistent for service, atmosphere and food. Perhaps staying with the standard items would be a consideration. We have never stayed for the live music but as we leave people are coming in.

First time there meeting up with family in town for the holidays. A small snafu with our reservation that they immediately rectified. Kids allowed until 830, two were in our party. Service was great - our waitress Jessica was super friendly and attentive. Food was really good - had the brats which came with real German potato salad -yum!!! Atmosphere... More

We were in today for Happy Hour and it was pretty sad. The beer was $6.50 a pint (Happy Hour prices only apply to select beers apparently). We ordered off the Happy Hour menu. We had a turkey and bacon sandwich that we think may have had mayo on it - it was pretty gooey and strange. The Caesar salad... More

Really this place as it all. The food and serves was exceptional for a pub. When you walk inside you feel like you have entered a Swiss pub. It is casual, very friendly and the staff seemed proud and eager to share some of its history. As for the art, above the bar are over a half a dozen Chihuly... More

Very good pub food, broad selection of beverages, great atmosphere. Meeting place for many activities (Thursday evening 5-mile runs through downtown Tacoma) and groups with accommodations for all.

Stopped in while staying in Tacoma. Hotel was a couple blocks away. Had some good drinks. Decided to check out the place as I could see more areas behind the bar. One of the owners seen me looking around and gave me a tour. Talked about the building's history. Pics on wall. I enjoyed this pub.

This historic Pub is a great stop for a beer and/or snack while taking in the Chichuly Venetians and paintings. Chichuly also has a small display of his accordion collection here.
