We were a party of eight with a reservation. Seated promptly but that was it. No drink orders, no introduction from the waiter (who I now see is the owner). Ordered a bottle of wine which took 20 minutes. The waiter/owner seems terribly put out that he had to serve us. The food was good but not worth the abuse... More

The food is great, I feel like its pretty authentic. The owner is fantastic, he goes to all the tables and does a great job making you feel welcome. They serve bread and olive oil to start and even offer cooking classes! I've been there twice so far, and will definitely go back.

We were only here for takeout but if the takeout is an indication of dining in, we will return. The caprese salad had large slices of fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and basil with a delicious drizzle of balsamic and olive oil. The margherita pizza had a divine thin and crispy crust. My personal favorite was the dipping oil for the... More

Stumbled on this while visiting Proctor St. and U. Puget Sound and was amazed. Food was excellent, service was fun and fabulous. Seafood salad was fresh and a wonderful variety; the homemade gnocchi was excellent and presented spectacularily; loved the house dipping oil. Really felt we were back in Italy.

My husband and i have visited Italy and this food is the closest thing to being there. Alfredo, the owner, is from southern Italy and his meals are fab. The only concern i would have is that it gets really noisy in the later part of the evening, so we tend to go early so we can hear each other... More

Slow service for adequate food. In this part of the world and on this very street you can do a lot better. Not worth your hard earned money.

I did not know this little area even existed in a not noteworthy city. The whole Proctor area is a treat and is a fun destination. We looked on our phones for places to eat and settled on this one. So glad we did. The food is absolutely authentic Italian cuisine and very fresh. I love that they don't have... More

What is not to like at this family friendly Italian Eatery (Bistro), from being waited on by the owner to the wonderful choices on the menu not to mention the nightly specials (salad through dessert) It was an amazing culinary experience that I quite appreciated from other options available :) Yes we will be eating there again with our children... Definitely all 6 of us had a delicious meal last night and the owner gave us impeccable service. His recommendatons were excellent. Delicous house wine. Delightful evening on a cold night. My husband and I, as did the other two couples had the fresh crabcakes over linguini with a light lemon olive oil sauce. We differed from the other two... More

Very decent restaurant. A nice special featuring seasonal crab. Reasonable wine by the glass. Skip the house salad it was one of the worst salads I have had. Still, will be willing to give the restaurant another try.
