The Tea Leaf is a great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant but worth the visit. I have never had any complaints going to this restaurant. Close to PLU. Don't expect anything fancy but the food and service are good.

A wonderful spot for a relaxing meal. Very attentive wait staff and of course the awesome Chinese menu makes this a place you should visit. Go there hungry and come away satisfied. YUM-YUM

The Kim chee is so good that it makes the sticky tables and worn out chairs completely OK. The owners are very friendly. The food was fast. Did I mention that Kim chee?

It's sort of average but is a nice little hole in the wall with decent fried rice. The servers/owners are very nice.

Sunday p.m. around 4...nobody inside the restaurant, except us! Sat down and waited for about 4 min. before we saw someone pop out and say something.Friendly elderly gentleman asked if we wanted hot tea. Waited another 3-5 minutes before a woman poured water and took our order. Mongolian beef and Chow mein. Soup was filled with Tofu and vegetable stock.... More

Heading home, I talked my husband into a side trip for lunch. We 1st were here 34 years ago, when we were just dating, glad we stop back in! Forgot how their 'small' soups were not - since we each had a different kind, we'll have them again for dinner. I haven't had Sizzling Rice soup for so many years... More

And it is always amazing. I now live out of state and always schedule a meal here when in town. It hasn't changed a bit and I wouldn't have it any other way!

My daughter had eaten here and recommended we try it. The place is nothing special to look at, there is not a ton of seating but on the night we were there it really wasn't crowded. Service was okay and the food was fantastic. Very reasonable prices. Worth the trip to have some really good, inexpensive Chinese food.

Tea Leaf is what Chinese restaurant's of the 1960's & 1970's use to be like. The food here is what our parents use to think of - and in many cases they still think of it as authentic Chinese food; i.e. Chow Mein, Almond Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, etc. The food can be okay one day, then on another...
