Stopped by on a slow day for breakfast, which was above average. My French Toast was very good accompanied by a nice fruit compote. Others in my group had an ample bagel sandwich and the "old stand by" bacon and eggs. Coffee was very good - pour your own, bottomless cup. If in the area I would stop by again.

Was out looking for a cup of coffee and happened upon the Renaissance. I was greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant and was told coffee and tea were self serve. Poured myself a cup of coffee. As soon as I sat down the server took my order. The veggie omelette I order was delicious

Very skimpy portions and bacon that had been cooked a long time ago and reheated. The biggest issue is that all was then served on a very cold plate. This place is way over rated.

This cafe is an absolute delight! Our server Elizabeth was as cute as could be, friendly and kind! The food is Delicious ! We went for breakfast, the French toast was to rave about, the home made marmalade to savor! This is a small quaint place that makes you want to relax and linger- if there isn't a table- wait... The service was pretty slow, the food was decent, and there wasn't much space inside. I probably wouldn't go back to be honest.

Met up with one of my old military friends here. Loved it here! Love the cute interior, our waitress was sweet and very friendly. We ordered their French toast special, avocado turkey club and salmon salad. Everything was delicious! The cook who I think is also the owner came out and gave us our food. The drinks are self serve... More

We were traveling back through on a motorcycle trip and happened upon this based on trip advisor reviews. We loved this place! It is small, but very personal. The cook, who we think was the owner, came out to take our order. He pretty much said I will make whatever you want. I wanted bacon and eggs and my wife... More

My husband and I enjoyed the day's special - an omelet stuffed with ham, spinach, tomatoes and hollandaise sauce - so much that we returned the next day. The cook very graciously made it for us again. Friendly, casual atmosphere.

We were so happy to find this restaurant near the Tacoma Glass Museum. The server was very friendly and attentive and there were many options for everyone: carnivores, vegan, gluten free. I had delicious salmon sandwich (very fresh-tasting salmon), and others had good sandwiches and breakfast/egg dishes. excellent coffee, which is important in the northwest. Comfortable vibe, much better than... More
