to tell the truth we went on a spur of the moment for our sons birthday. He has been to a few entertainment type cooking restaurants and finds it fun. Both of our kids loved the showmanship that the chefs display. We went on a fairly slow night(sunday) but it was still half full and every table celebrated something (mostly... More

We took our son, his wife and children ages 3 and 15 mos. there recently. We stepped into the empty lobby and were greeted by a robotic voice set off by a sensor welcoming us. Once seated we were given menus that offered basic choices of steak, chicken, shrimp, etc. for prices of around $18-26 for each meal, which included... More

My wife and I have dined here a couple of times and find it a fun change of pace. The food is good and the show is entertaining. You sit with four or six other people while the chef prepares your food right in front of you doing a few tricks along the way. You can’t help but chat with... More

What an experience...This was the most entertaining meal I've ever had. My eight year old daughter was absolutely enthralled. She had a huge smile on her face the entire time. She told my wife and I that it was more fun too eat and watch the "show" , than go to Chuck-E-Cheese's. It wasn't the best Japanese food I've ever... More

We always visit Tokyo after doing the wine walks in town. We ate there once and it's now tradition! It's never busy and we always have a table to ourselves. More quiet and quaint than Benihana, but the staff and food are just as good.

Our family of 5 entered the steakhouse early on a Friday night (only 2 other families were there). We had 3 children all in grade school, and 2 adults. The waiter seated us, we ordered drinks, & start looking at menus. Then they ask to move us. This is irritating. They move us to another table with another family, which... More

We decided on something different while visiting the west coast over the New Year. Recommended by a family member this place is not only fun but a great place to enjoy dinner. The staff could not do enough for us even cooking a special separate salt free meal for my wife. This is not easy in a hibachi style restaurant... More

This has been a family favorite for the past few years. Last night we had a group of 10 for dinner. The show was good. Most of the show is predictable if you've dined here within the last year. (My son has it memorized) but they did a great job entertaining. I've never been disappointed with the entertainment! The service... More

I have been to many restaurant in my day, but none have risen to the level of me sitting down and writing a review of it. The Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse in Woodinville rises to that occasion with ease! This is now my "go-to" place for a consistently outstanding meal. In the dozen or so times I have be blessed to... We've been to several Japanese steakhouses and this is just as good as any, with competitive pricing. If you know how these restaurants work, then you should know that our cook was the most entertaining we've had and the food was good. If you don't know about these restaurants, then you ought to. You sit around a cooking area and... More
