We pulled in to this place while traveling through Yakima, to avoid the rush hour traffic. The food was so-so, the service was fair to middling. The music playing was Christian-Country which is not our favorite and incongruous with a oriental restaurant, in my opinion. My husband was fairly happy with his entree; however, I was not so much. The... More

Went here for a late lunch. There were lunch specials which included egg drop soup, a side, and a smaller size entree. The soup was not great--lots of celery in egg drop which ended up being a vegetable soup. The sweet and sour chicken was good. Interior was pretty dated but clean.

We went here for a family birthday dinner just 6 adults we asked for a table (as 3 of us are large and don't fit well in booths) no tables, I almost went elsewhere but my wife said we could manage. The waitress did not know the first thing about anything, after ordering we received our egg drop soup but... More

Ate here on a Friday night and the service was so slow I was seconds away from walking out when my order finally showed up. Food was quite good - the hot and sour soup was excellent, and the Kung Pao chicken I ordered was very good. Portions were good, prices reasonable - the interior of the place is clean,... More

Heard good things about this restaurant so my husband and I decided to try it for lunch. The interior was clean but not real impressed. The music was soft rock played too loud through the speaker. Our waitress was nice and efficient. We ordered the daily lunch special of sweet and sour prawns, fried rice, chow mein, and egg flower... More

Peking Palace on North 1st Street in Yakima is the best Oriental restaurant I have ever visited. The place is spotless, service is great and friendly, and the food is outstanding. You can't go wrong eating here!

My wife and I are big Chinese food fans. This has become our go to place in Yakima for Chinese food. The restaurant is nothing fancy. The decorations are fairly simple, but it is kept very clean and neat. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but the food more than makes up for it. Their pot stickers are great... More

As usual the food is good, but thru the years the portions have gotten smaller. But it is still a good meal for the price.

If you like BBQ Pork Noodle Soup - the very best is at Peking Palace Restaurant on North First Street. Living in Yakima - trust me we have tried every Chinese restaurant for this item and Peking Palace "knocks it out of the park". The rest of their menu items are very, very good also. The owners are super friendly... More

At Peking Palace, you are treated like family. Food is high quality and plentiful, plus they have the best plate of mongolian beef in the Northwest. Prices are reasonable, service is excellent. It is a family owned business so the $$ you spend there stays in the local economy (not a chain restaurant). Try it, you'll like it.
