Let's put all this into perspective. It was lunch time (approximately 12:30) and I and my wife, as visitors, wished to have a little lunch. An Indian buffet sounded like a distinct possibility so we made our way here. The place was fairly clean and there were several patrons eating so it seemed like a safe bet. We were brought... More

The best Indian food! Our standard order is Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, and a Mango Lassi. I felt I had to capitalize each food to express how delicious their food is!!!!!

Sitar is my absolute favorite lunch spot in Charleston. It is a buffet, so there's a large selection of delicious dishes. I went from an Indian-food skeptic to a true believer during my first visit to Sitar, and now I try to go back as often as possible. My favorite dish is the chicken with chiles, but all of the... My husband and I LOVE their weekday lunch buffet. We wish they had one on the weekend as well. We love Indian food, and we have tried MANY Indian restaurants all over the country, but Sitar is our MOST Favorite!! The Saag is so delicious, and I don't usually like spinach. The chicken tikka masala is creamy and delicious. I... More

Really good Lamb Saag, and excellent chicken tikka masala. Their seafood biryani is good. I tend to order the same things over and over again, especially if they're tasty! Very quiet, nice atmosphere.

Sitar is a family favorite! The chicken tiki marsala is a favorite with the kids and wife. Don't forget the Sag Paneer! Garlic Nan is a must.

I go to Sitar often for the lunch buffet. There are only two Indian restaurants in Charleston and this place definitely is the best. Their buffet offers a lot of variety and is always fresh. It's not the best Indian I've had in life but it's satisfying to say the least. Free parking in the lot across the street as... More
