Great food and service. Beautiful view. We loved it. Decent wine list. Fun getting there on the tram.

Just a short review. You take a cable car down to this restaurant so if you have a fear of heights I do not recommend it. Once you get down there or you can wander all around the grounds before or after your meal our...More
Accessible by tram only this dining experience offers breath taking beauty in addition to a gourmet menu. To go to dinner we descended about 3,000 feet to a restaurant at a mountain stream. It is not possible to drive to this location unless you were...More
Dinner here is very good. Diverse entrees, excellent list of reasonably priced wines. Great atmosphere. Great service. Minor quibble is that a steak "au poivres" should be cooked with peppercorns as that's what it means. Prefer this restaurant over the park's Bluestone Restaurant.
We visited last week-end, and the resort part of this W VA State Park is closing on October 30. However, our visit was wonderful, and we plan on going again next year. This restaurant overlooks a creek, which unfortunately was not lit up at night...More

We had an excellent diner. I had the beef filet with crab, mash potatoes and asparagus. Everything was cooked perfect. My husband had a salad with salmon. He said it was very good. House wine a bit pricy but good. We would go back.
The appetizers and entrees were limited, but all were quite good. Sitting in the window looking over the creek & mountain was amazing.
