Like all the older buildings in Davis and Thomas, the TipTop cafe and coffee bar has a cozy nostalgia you won't find anywhere else. Although this place is focused on the seasonal tourists, the drinks and grub are sought by regulars living in the area as well. Expect to pay what you would in Starbucks, but the food is locally... I may have had the best coffee I've ever tasted at the Tip Top. Wandering down the street in Thomas, I walked into this place with no expectations. A few years later, I can report that I stop there 2-4 times every time I'm in the area.

We stopped in on a Saturday morning for coffee. This is a more modern place than others in Davis or Thomas. They offer coffee, hot chocolate, food and beer at the bar. Nice little play spot for kids. We enjoyed the coffee and pastries. Not sure how the food is since we didn't eat there.

We stopped in because we were told they had wonderful desserts, I planned to sit and watch my family eat their delights, when to my surprise, Tip Top had two Gluten Free desserts for me to select from. I went with the yam brownie--absolutely delicious. My husband loved the pastry he chose. I needed a low acidic coffee, and didn't... More

Following a cold, rigorous hike in Blackwater Falls State Park, my son and I stopped in for a light lunch and coffee. What ambiance and sophistication! Beautiful decor, great selection of confectioneries and coffees, and oh so cozy. Very eclectic blend of auditory and visual relaxation. I only regret having driven by Tip Top so many times and not stopping in!... More

The coffee is amazing but the real treat is Sunday Brunch. This is a favorite stop when we are in the mountains.

Join Cade and his crew at TipTop. Excellent coffee and beer. Tasty sweets, sandwiches, and snacks. Very family friendly. Locals' haunt. Good/free wifi in a tidy and relaxed setting.

WOW-WOW...Family and I stopped in on Feb 28, 2017 for "a cup of coffee". We were blown away by what we found...this place will match ANY Starbucks for rich/bold coffee and I can't remember having a better Latte anywhere. And I double dog dare you to pull out ANY of your grandma's molasses/ginger cookie recipes to compare to Tip Top's... More

´Tis a grand day. We visit TipTop Coffee House this am, and find it to be an Inviting Coffee House_Wine bar. TipTop Coffee House and barista offers coffee any way, and we choose a Latte. The Latte is perfect, and a window table provides a nice view. We recommend.

High quality coffee and pastries in a fun environment. Coffee shop straight out of the city found in a pleasant mountain town.
