Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we detoured from our trip down I-94 for lunch at this spot. What a pleasant diversion. As other reviewers have noted, the food is fresh and delicious; the atmosphere is mellow and conversation-friendly. The real surprise, though, is in this incredible selection of unusual, for-sale preserved/pickled products that occupy at least a third of this... More

Very nice place if you're into organic they have some of everything. If you're with friends it's a nice gathering spot. When the farmers market is going we sit outside with a sandwich or something to drink.

My wife and I had heard great things so we gave it a try for an early dinner. While the setting was very casual and eclectic, the food was excellent. They really focus on local and organic and have a good selection. We will certainly be back.

Bushel & Peck's is a nice change of pace from the standard chain lunch spots. I would call the place very earthy and natural. They have specialty food products for sale (locally canned vegetables and sauces & wine) displayed in an open friendly way. A bit of a farmers market meets co-op feel. You order up at a counter and... More

Who knew so many things could be canned and pickled??! Such a cute place, very good choice for an alternative to junk food and bogus frilly facades. Smells good. Laid back environment-Offers fresh ingredients and gets the wheels turning for new ways to look at food.

This is a nice place to meet with friends, or maybe former teachers. I haven't perused their grocery/shopping, so I can't speak to that. And a friend didn't care for the "fish cakes" as he called them. But I really like the badger burgers. Made with real badger! Just kidding! Seriously though, I get them almost every time I go.

Everytime I come home to Beloit I eat here. The atmosphere is homy, does to earth, with books to read and board games to play. They also have specialty food items for sale like cheese's, jams, olives, oils, spices, ECT. Also they have a freezer section with locally sourced meats and other goodies. Whatever is on the menu is always... More

Had my first visit to B & P today. The place has a cool vibe. Wine and beer samplings, indoor Farmers market too. The college age staff was friendly and attentive. I had a club sandwich that was so tasty! And the didn't slather it in mayo! But you did get a choice of house made condiments to choose from.... More

Stopped for breakfast. Sandwich was very average to below. They sell all kinds of pickled / canned vegetables, sauces and bakery items as well as used books and a small section of dairy products and frozen meats. Unique but we won't be going back.

Thank Laura S
