I called the day before to make reservations and was assured it was not necessary, but I insisted as I was meeting a friend from out of town. When I arrived the place was empty but for one couple huddled in a very secluded corner...More

We made the reservation for a large party. But when we arrived we had to wait for 10 minutes to "get your table ready". When we were seated we realized we waited for 3 individual round tables to be moved next to each other. Ok...More

I have been to this fine restaurant several times. The history of the building is amazing, the decor preserved, with a very fine bar. The menu changes every so often but it is always delicious with nice portions (not too small, not too big). There...More

Very good food; the lobster was great. Excellent fish fry. Top shelf bourbons. Lovely historic place, from the Italian tile floor to the mahogany bar.

Had lunch, including stuffed lobster roll for very reasonable price. Nice menu, with evening offerings appearing to be quite ambitious. Take time to read historical info on menu. It will make you appreciate to decor, which dates back over 100 years.

What a beautiful setting for a dinner with long time friends. Our dinners were so good. My salmon was cooked perfectly with a delicious asparagus risotto. It came with a salad and house made parmesan peppercorn dressing. Great hot bread with butter and roasted garlic...More
