Had received a gift certificate some time ago. Finally got around to using it. Loved the inside and outside of restaurant. The ceiling inside is covered with old doors, the big glass lights above the bar are lovely and the artwork great. Loved the dog...More

Had an excellent steak and shrimp and grits tasted like we were down south. Get the Goat Cheese Curds, you will not regret it!

Bleu was a tad tricky to locate as it's cleverly hidden off Dickinson Road. Just look for all the cars parked by the tallest building in the area! Although there is an entry ramp, the parking lot is primarily inconvenient gravel. That being said, we...More

Ala Carte menu that changes based on fresh garden produce grown locally. Interesting dishes, I had a Vietnamese soup that was wonderfully delicious. There is a full bar. Delightful dining experience, prices are a little higher but the food is worth it. Service is great...More

In my last review I said that the food had gone downhill, but that I would try it again to see if it was just a fluke. Well, I tried it again on Friday night and I am sorry to report that once again the...More

An eclectic place with great food and open room "Community ambiance". It doesn't have cozy quiet nooks and speak-easy privacy. The food is good, the menu is creative and the service was great. I would recommend it for couples, dates, small group of friends. I...More

The type of place that the constant din of conversation and kitchen noise adds to the ambiance. Interesting food and solid bourbon selection.

Stopped here with business friends for dinner. We did not have reservations but were seated promptly and our server took our drink order. The menu is not huge but does have a variety of offerings. I started with the Lobster Bisque soup which I found...More

Had fantastic experience at Bleu last night. Food was perfectly prepared and questions on scallops were investigated and answered by wait staff and chef with attention to the details of the question - professionally and without a hint of annoyance. Much appreciated! Food was excellent...More

My husband & I are so grateful to have Bleu as a restaurant option. Their atmosphere, service, cocktails & food are always amazing. It is hands down the best restaurant in the Green Bay Area.

Sorry for the delay, just ask the little hostess for who she recommends. She will help you pick one of them. :)

Chef Driven: One thing we pride ourselves with is a great staff. We consider ourselves one big family. We have seen many of our employees start when they were 15 and grow up in the restaurant. We realize there is so much talent, passion and loyalty in our staff. Over the years, JR has learned new things, has had new ideas, and new styles that he has wanted to experiment with. Although, trying them on our customers at Chives Restaurant in Suamico was always ideal, it is difficult to change the menu when customers have grown to love certain signature items that we simply could not change. Bleu Restaurant and Lounge was an idea formed by JR Schoenfeld, and our son Nick Morse. The Chef: Bleu brings new talent to the area. Nick Morse is our Head Chef. Nick's passion for food blossomed several years ago. JR began taking Nick to work with him when Nick was 14 years old. He washed dishes, prepped food items, plated desserts and made pizzas. Since then, he has spent time as a Kitchen Manager, Line cook in Door County, Sous Chef at Chives Restaurant for 5 years and wanting to expand his knowledge of food, took a seasonal position for the summers of 2011 and 2012 at the Harbor View Hotel & Resort on Martha's Vineyard in Edgartown, Massachusetts. The Design: Wishing we could take credit for the beautiful interior design of Bleu, we owe Designs of the Interior on North Broadway in Green Bay all the credit. Old doors puzzled together on the ceiling were a challenge. JR spent all summer driving around the state of Wisconsin, sometimes knocking on doors of random farm houses asking to buy old doors. He loved being a "picker" in between designing the open concept kitchen and coordinating the construction.
