This place has closed at this location. Never lived up to the reputation of the original place. I had been to it a number of time because it's close to my house. Service was never Very good and food never lived up to the price.

I've been going to Gus' from the start when his first restaurant was a little hole in the wall in downtown Milwaukee. He obviously has done very well for himself. His food is awesome and the service is good. They have outdoor seating and is...More
Gus's is located off of Hwy 100 in a small strip mall. Wish he could put up a large sign to inform people that he's open. The building inside and out is super clean. A beautiful bar with homemade terrific Margaritas. Outside is a beautiful...More
I usually come here at lunch time because I'm in the area. Always great food and speedy service. Authentic chips and salsa with daily specials. I like the enchiladas. I haven't ordered drinks or been here for dinner so I only give it 4 Stars!...More
I've been to Gus's before and walked out because of terrible service. However, tonight's visit showed how inept their management or owners are. My wife and a friend stopped in at 9:00 in the evening to have a couple of margaritas at the bar to...More
I went on a Friday night, and the restaurant never got crowded. Nice for me, probably not so good for the business though. Menu choices were standard Mexican-American fare; no real surprises here, and not much authentic flavor. Very Americanized. I enjoyed the beer selection...More
While the service at Gus' was good, and the atmosphere friendly, the food was just about hitting average. Nothing spectacular. In fact, the tacos platter I had was sort of bland and the tacos were cold when served. In addition, it was hard to get...More
Although the owner Gus is super nice and cares for his business and customers, this review is solely based on the food/restaurant/atmosphere. My family and I have been here many times because it's one of the only Mexican restaurants in the area and each time...More
The chips and salsa (homemade) was a nice start to our dinner experience. The taco salad was way too much, had to take some home and the burrito was very filling. The service was great and it is a kid friendly restaurant.
