the Pearl is part of a group of shops that includes a coffee shop, an art gallery and a La Crosse & Wisconsin souvenir shop. All are a "must see" when in La Crosse. That part of Pearl Street is something extra special in La Crosse... almost a step back in time.

What a gem of an ice cream parlor! It brings back a time where this was the place to meet and socialize over a hand dipped ice cream in a wonderful tasting waffle cone. This family friendly environment is a must for any visitors as well as those who live in LaCrosse and the surrounding area.

Cappuccino Oreo is my favorite flavor, I have to get it every time! I love the atmosphere. Take a walk down to riverside park.

This is my favorite place for enjoying ice cream. It's always freshly made, served with a smile - and there is often a long line out the door (but worth the wait). Great choice of flavors. Great even in the winter time - but rather than sitting outside then, able to sit in the adjoining cafe enjoying ice cream with... More

Overpriced ice cream with long lines. It's nice for a treat, but I can go to Culver's or DQ and not wait in line for 20 min.

Back east we have dairy creamery that churn ice cream in PA, so it only gets 4 stars for freezer ice cream. I know that is from a biased opinion of what real ice cream should be, but it was average store bought ice cream. The atmosphere made up for the lack of handcrafted desserts. The candy selection is very... More

If you're not from Wisconsin, try the Blue Moon ice cream. You can smell them cooking the waffle cones right down the street. If the weather is nice, take your ice cream and walk down to Riverside park.

This is a great, old time ice cream parlor! Just to walk into the store is divine, as it smells so delicious! The woodwork and décor of the place all look so original! And the choices of ice cream and candies are unbelievable! This is definitely a special treat in downtown Lacrosse

This is by far a favorite stop for many visitors and locals in downtown LaCrosse. Stop in for their own icecream and candies in the old fashioned ice cream parlor from a bygone era. Stroll through the other specialty shops on Pearl Street and then down to Riverside Park to watch the boats on the Mississippi River.

My family loves the Pearl. They have so many cool nostalgic candies that bring back memories of my youth. Their ice cream and confectionaries are the best in the area. It is a bit spendy but no more than fast food type ice cream options.
