Awesome service, food, drinks and facility. Eclectic menu. Try the meatloaf filet. You will love it, over and over.

Look to Zanzibar for special menus and great service. Chef Mark is very creative. It's one of the few restaurants around that includes black beans, cannelloni beans and kidney beans in their upscale menu. The wine list is enjoyable and affordable and there is always a specialty cocktail of the week. It's worth a visit.

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent drinks. Attentive service. Zanzibar is great place to dine before a show at the Mable Tainter. Love the seared tuna sandwich, lavash, steaks, sweet potato fries.

We had 10 people in our group for a Wed. night and the service and food couldn't have been better. A good variety of appetizers and entrees set in a warm atmosphere made the event very successful.

Food is great and a refreshing change from the everyday fast food and pizza that the area has plenty of. Drink menu is even better!!

My early experiences with the Zanzibar where typically positive, good food, good service with moderate to high pricing for this area. Some times the quality of the food would I a little below par, recently I attended and the lunch was pretty good; No complaints. But I remember another time I went a few years ago which put me off... I had the salmon, which was delicious. My husband had the meatloaf, which he thought was average. We both had a pumpkin martini which we thought were average as well. Good service.

We stopped by last week for Halloween ladies night out and had their special, pumpkin spice martini, which was to die for. Just a dallop of cream on the top. Along with a spinich artichoke dip with lavosh crackers. It totally made our night an unexpectied delight.

Witches Night Out in downtown Menomonie is fun event for ladies in the area every year. Glad you were able to shop in our great independently owned stores, boutiques and restaurants. The Pumpkin Martini is a great fall favorite! More

Wonderful place to have dinner with friends and family. Right on Main St, so has street parking. You will want to get there a bit early to ensure being able to find a place to park.

Description
Deep red walls and rich hardwood accents create an inviting and relaxing setting for an exciting, eclectic meal at Zanzibar. The menu contains numerous original contemporary American dishes with world influences. Two of the most popular items, lahvosh, is an Armenian cracker bread topped with a five-cheese blend, veggies, and a variety of meats and Meatloaf Mignon (this isn’t your mama’s meatloaf). The bar can mix up hand-craft cocktails, over 65 kinds of martinis, and offers an unique wine list. The menu is very vegetarian friendly (any meal can be altered) and contains over 100 gluten-free options. They also create their own spice blends that are available to take home. Reservations are recommended.
