Barriques is a Madison-specialty that serves coffee, coffee with alcohol, and an assortment of wine. Of the numerous times I have ordered, I have never be served a beverage that was too hot. My favorite item to order is the Mexican Mocha. My wife's favorite item to order is the Caramel Roll. The Belly rewards system keeps me spending more... More

Stopped in to kill an hour. Enjoyed 2 different Sam Smiths while perusing through the wine and liquor aisles. Super low key. Next time, I would like to bring a deck of cards and to come on a night with a tasting. Tonight's tasting was whiseys. Only drawback was that they closed at 9.

Met a friend for a quick light dinner -- just some soup and a beverage. He had a raspberry spritzer and I had a delicious iced coffee. We were looking for something light to eat and decided on the homemade basil soup -- very good I might add! However, I am a MidWesterner and that means that when we order... More

Our group of 4 had amazing coffee, tasty iced sport tea, and amazing cowboy cookies. The service was fast and friendly. They also have an amazing wine selection which I will come back for someday.

This is a quiet and comfortable place to enjoy a delicious coffee. The selection is good, with a few unique options. I tried the iced lavender latte - it was wonderful; both refreshing and still got my coffee. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. As an out of town visitor I enjoyed Barriques, if I was a local I... More

I stopped in for a cup of Joe and a breakfast wrap. A simple order really. However this morning my wrap came without being wrapped, rather it was folded into the container rather than rolled. And the sausage simply placed on top of the sandwich rather than inside. In what way is this a wrap? It's not like they were... More

This is a small privately owned chain of coffee/wine/spirits. I was there in the morning for coffee, and really enjoyed my beverage. The staff is warm and service oriented, presenting my drink with a smile. Seems like a nice place where locals hang out.

A quiet place to sip your favorite coffee or a glass of wine. They have a nice selection of spirits and wine all reasonably priced.

Out of several locations that Barriques has in Madison Area, this one is my favorite. Modern, high ceilings, lot of light and specious. As for coffee? Again, latte and espresso is my cup. One of the best in this part of town. The staff is very friendly and.accommodating, if you don't like the cup, they will remake it for you,... More
