We had only poor food and service during our visit. My wife's food was served cold, not only her entrée, but the soup as well. My fish-n-chips was probably one of the worst "fish-n-chips I've ever been served. On top of all that, the waitress brought me another couple's bill (for more money of course). Miss Katie's Diner is a... More

We occasionally drive up from the south side to eat at this "famous" diner. We've never been disappointed with the amazing fish fry. Huge portion, so delicious it almost melts in your mouth! The home-made potato chips are so good. Philly steak sandwich and Reuben also good - and large. The bar feels like a step back in time to... More

Great local diner with the standard staples. Nothing crazy or off the wall, just solid favorites for this kind of establishment. I had the cheese omelette which was outstanding and delicious - wish I could eat that every day!

A popular local place with that nostalgic decor of a diner that sets it apart. Homemade breakfast dishes that let you know it's not from a can. I thought the wait staff was attentive and efficient and friendly although they can seem busy going from table to table, but even humorous if there's a moment to converse. Definitely a place... Miss Katie's is a hidden gem on the edge of Marquette's campus. A wide array of appetizers, great drinks, and good entrees. The cheese curds are fantastic and the ribs/shrimp really stand out. Service is top notch as well. This location is popular for visiting politicos too. Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Helmut Kohl have all... More

There is a theme here...Miss Katie's DIner is a diner, not unlike the look of those who are familiar with Ed Debevic's. Since I was on my way out of town, I thought to eat at Miss Katie's since it was near the Marquette campus and I could wave my "so long" when I finished breakfast. I ordered the eggs... More

This is an old time diner, since we were there for brunch we indulged in the best Bloody Mary's I've had in a long time. My brunch was eggs Benedict and the hollandaise was made fresh. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Having been here in the recent past and quite pleased, our stop here on a Thursday early afternoon is either an anomaly or a sign of impending doom. When the best thing you can say about food and service for three is that the malt was delicious, the iced tea was dark and flavorful, and the buns on the three... More

We had lunch here and would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to eat at that is fun and has good food. We came in on a hot day and immediately appreciated the air conditioning. A waitress promptly Sat us and served us our meal. They are famous for the cheeseburgers and fries and that's... More

Yes, it's a kitchy diner that boasts its celebrity visitors of various political persuasions, but we thoroughly enjoyed it: both the food and the ambiance. We had a waitress who was a hoot (and also very good at what she does) that added to our fun visit. We stopped there for lunch on the way up to Door County and... More
