I have been to Tulas many times and the service and the food is excellent , even when they are busy. Best eats in town, also Tulas in Trig's shopping mall in Rhinelander ranks as the best.

Stopped for quick breakfast during off-season expecting empty restaurant, but Tula's was packed. Short wait for a booth, all employees were hustling. Frevia, the only waitress, was awesome. Great attitude and kept up an incredible pace. Food was exceptional! Kudos to the cook and bussers too, great team effort. (Another waitress was called in to help and came in just... More

We moved to the Northwoods in 1999. For 16 years Tula's was our "go to" restaurant, especially for breakfast. The waitresses were the same waitresses for most of those years. They were very friendly, knew us and addressed us by name, and knew our preferences. The food was plentiful and very, very good. The pancakes were, and are still, the... More

An old fashion cafe with great food. I usually go there for breakfast and their menu is extensive. I have had lunch there and the soups and sandwiches are great. Their fish fry , which is offered at lunch or dinner, is amazing at less than $10. The Northwoods ambiance is charming.

Took my son there this past Thursday. Havent been there in over a year and will not go back AGAIN. The prices are way to high and the food is very poorly made the waitress didn't NOT come to the table once to ask how it was or anything. Very Bad service that place is really going down hill.Ordered two... More

My family and I stopped to give this restaurant a second chance around 10am, but they failed again. We seated ourselves at a table on the middle of the place and waited several minutes for a waitress. We thought one would at least stop to say something like, "I'll be right with you" or "Here are some menus", but not... More

Caution!! Used to be 5 stars but since Trig's began making their own brats, sausage & ham products they are (understandably) using these at Tula's now. I have tried most of Trig's meat products and do not care for any of them at all. It's a matter of personal taste. I still occasionally go to Tula's but no longer order... More

We went to Tula's around 1:00, which should have been past the busy part of lunch hour. Our waitress begrudgingly cleaned off our table. I think she would have been pleased if we had left. She had a continuous scowl on her face. She took her time bringing half of our party's drinks and then another 15 minutes with the... More

You can typically tell if a place is good by how many people are seated in booths and tables. We took the last table (even with having a late lunch). The place was decorated in a typical 'northwoods' style. Service was good. What we learned was to ask specific questions about the food items. I ordered hot cocoa. I should... More

A waitress who never made eye contact and who kept surveying the dining roon while taking our orders couldn't remember who ordered what when she served us. She seemed distracted. We each ordered the classic 2 eggs with hash browns, toast and bacon. The two of us who ordered basted eggs each received one hard egg. I called the waitress... More
