I have been going here for over 50 years. Great decor and donuts. The food is not given too much attention and leaves a bit to be desired, but it is still the all you can eat log cabin family style experience I remember just alot more expensive. Too expensive for how much most people can eat.

I have been going to Minocqua every summer for about 10 years, and I had never eaten at Paul Bunyan's! I decided this was the summer to change that. My husband, son, and I went for supper one night. I was a great experience. I loved the family style serving. The food was pretty average, but I would definitely go... More

Great place for breakfast. Family style serving is fast and the warm donuts are very tasty. Dining room is very rustic and gives you the feeling of going back in time to another era. Enjoyed the gift shop after eating.

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday morning at 11.50. We were told we could not have lunch until 12 but no effort was made to seat us to look at the menu, nor did they ask us to wait for a few minutes. We felt like they were very rude so we left.

We have passed by a few of these including the one in the Dells and have been curious about the food. They serve what is called a banquet style meal. So first you pay for your meal and the meal is pre-designed and set - so there are no custom orders. You also pay first before you eat which is... More

Too much food if not super hungry, limited to options that are NOT fresh in appearances, texture, taste or in anyway. Seemed like no love put into any part Of the experience &/or most importantly the food. Yuck, rather eat my own cold eggs & toast for 1/4 of price 😬

We brought our kids to enjoy breakfast for their birthday treat of all you can eat breakfast and we were a little disappointed in some of the items served. The biscuits were stiff but the gravy wasn't good/very plain. The potatoes were slightly above room temperature. Definitely not worth the money spent and the kids weren't happy.
