The Norske Nook has a delicious Friday Fish Fry. Two of our group had the fish and it was fantastic! Two of us had eggs and the homemade corned beef hash. They make the best hash we've ever had. When we were finished with dinner we took 4 pieces of pie to share with our family and they were a... More

We stopped on our way to Minnesota from the Chicago suburbs for a later lunch. I love the lefse wraps but they are so big that all I want to do after is take a nap. They let me order a child's portion which gave me room for the best part: the pie. This time I had the raspberry peach... More

My wife and I stop here while driving between Minnesota and Indiana. We always purchase a loaf of the special cranberry wild rice bread, for it is delicious. When it is mealtime, we look forward to an excellent meal, whether the all day breakfast or tasty entries at other times. Highly recommended, with smiles from everyone on the staff as... More

Friends recommended the Norse Nook, so my wife and I took somewhat of a detour from our roadtrip to visit for a mid-afternoon treat. The many homemade pies were certainly tempting, but we settled for a couple cookies and coffee. The cookies were fresh and delicious; the coffee was good. The service was fast and friendly. The diningroom is not... More

About a mile off of I-94 at US-10, you will find the Norske Nook in "downtown" Osseo, WI. There is always a line to get a table at this time of day but it is worth it. We had "soup and sandwich". The soup (beef vegetable) was hot with lots of meat. The sandwiches were huge and tasty. And save... More

Perhaps we were expecting too much, based on reputation, but brunch was disappointing. Our waitress was quite brusque, and the wait for 4 meals was excessive, after which 3 of 4 meals were cold, including a biscuit that had never been heated and could have bounced if thrown, and gluten-free "toast," for which we were charged extra, which was completely... We always stop here on our way to the Twin Cities. The pie is simply the best you'll find. A family favorite is the sour cream raisin with meringue that you'll never believe. (Seriously, give it a try). Pies are worth every single penny. Swedish pancakes are also tasty. Sandwiches are ok, but nothing super, so stick with traditional Swedish... More

Salmon dinner was good, except that the vegetables were obviously not fresh, just warmed-over frozen. Blueberry pie and lefse excellent, as always. Server was excellent, also. Music system was cutting in and out.

I've been coming to the Nook for, well, about 30 years now. Yes, that makes me seem quite old. I've seen it grow from a small little establishment where, as a high school student, I could get a cheeseburger, chips, soda, and slice of pie for $5. Now they have 4 locations in Wisconsin (one near Madison!), their prices are... More

We visited Norske nook Wednesday in the middle of the pie rush for Thanksgiving. The Philly steak sandwich with steak tips was good. It was an interesting experience that was enjoyed by all.
