poor wait staff, cold food served after a long wait, they are new but they need a restaurant rescue fast!

Four of us had smelt fry with potato pancakes! Yum! The coleslaw was very good as well. I don't know of anywhere else in Racine that has smelt and it was very reasonable and very crispy. Some of the best potato pancakes I've had.
Very tiny..be prepared for the possibility of a wait to be seated. Homemade chicken noodle soup was excellent! Service was very friendly but rather slow (under staffed??) Friendly customers. No broiled option...husband said smelt was good, my perch was dry but everything was greasy. Potato...More
Nothing fancy here. Just great service and excellent food. Make sure you get the potato pancakes. There is nothing about this place that will impress you, except the entire experience. The floor is cockeyed, the building looks like a garage. But the breakfast is fantastic...More
Cliff's is a one of a kind gem & landmark for the locals of Racine! Expect a wait for the Friday Nights Fish Fry & the Sunday breakfasts especially after church! The Potato Pancakes are absolutely amazing. They're the best around here! A local delight...

Breakfast, lunch or Friday fish fry -- Cliff's is tops! Saturday or Sunday morning can be a challenge because of the wait, but that should not discourage anyone from standing in line -- it's so worth it. There is no bad item on the menu....More
Dropped by Jimmy John’s but since it opened only at 10am, checked through TripAdvisor and found this lovely place about a 7 min walk. Very happy that we found this place and able to have a great start to our day with the lovely breakfast...More
We love this restaurant which is tiny and simple. The food is great and the price is right. The potato pancakes are excellent, a family recipe. It is a must stop for us when visiting.
This is the perfect example of a place being so much better than it looks from the outside. We went there based on recommendations from Trip Advisor and weren't disappointed. It is a tiny little restaurant near the lake with not even 10 tables. Breakfast...More
