Great vibe, excellent coffee, and an art filled space to hang out. What is not to love? I enjoyed a cafe miel which was really delicious (made with honey) and a scone. Staff are attentive and give service with a smile! Tip them well.

Stopped to have breakfast on Sunday morning. I had hot chocolate and a pastry and my wife had a cup of oatmeal and coffee. The atmosphere is pretty laid back as it is on the basement level of an old historic building so you walk...More
Loved the atmosphere. Fun coffee and tea selections. Love the lavender London fog with soy milk. Had some food options and a vegetarian choice which could easily be made vegan
For starters, this isn't Starbucks or Caribou...a definite plus in my book. The coffee is good, atmosphere is inviting, and they have beer and wine if you're in the mood.
We drove all the way from the Duluth side to check out this coffee place I found on trip advisor & they weren't even open:( we stopped at 2pm on a Sunday and their hours say 8-3 so not sure what happened there. There were...More
Please accept our apology. On Sunday we were blindsided by an ill employee. We had no choice but to close early. We are a small operation with only a few employees and we do our best to manage these sort of situations. Unfortunately this particular...More
Super friendly staff and freshly roasted and ground beans add to the excellent java coming from this place! In addition to wonderfully crafted coffee drinks, they also have very tasty (limited menu) treats too!
The quality of coffee drinks and decor is much above average for what you'd expect to find in Superior. The bakery made upstairs is delicious as well. A must stop when I'm in the area.
Red Mug is great...nice place to hang out, great coffee, soup, desserts, etc. The food is great. I have been here many, many times and met people for music or coffee and dessert and really love to go here. What I don't get...why is the...More
Thanks for your review and suggestion. We enjoy and suffer our very windy corner and lower level location. Not only does every leaf, cigarette butt and wayward trash end up blowing into our stairwell, so does every snowflake when we get a good sized blizzard....More
Good green tea that gives good buzz. Coffee toward the upper end of the caffeine spectrum too. Bakery items good especially the gluten free stuff and extra "expecially" the sweet treats. Good place to see the local literati.
For the money the turkey sandwich was anemic. A good crisp pickle though. Kinda stingy with the chips too. A comfy chair. Warm enough I guess. Cute baby in pink swizzling from her bottle at nearby table.
