The historical building makes for a unique environment. The service is personable and attentive. The soup, individual rotating salad bar, bread basket and main course an excellent bargain. The food is always a consistent above average experience. It really doesn't get any better than this. A gem of a find between Milwaukee and Madison.

My Dad was celebrating his 75th Birthday and the Prime Rib at Elias is his favorite. I wanted to pick up the check for my parent's when they were dining at the restaurant and called the hostess and she was outstanding - she checked with the owner/manager and then took down all of my information and told my parents there... Awesome food, great service, old world charm with old world prices. Small but wonderful food and atmosphere, great bargain for the price and food. Relish tray, soup, salad and main meal. Sooo good!!

I am back 2 years after my first review, food was excellent, had the special, steak with onion shreds, ordered 2 bottles of wine for a party of 5--also ordered appetizers, dinner came with relish tray, soup, bread, salad....all were great--total bill for 5 was $182.00 not including tip. I highly recommend.

Pretty much every Friday we get the takeout fish fry here. Tried a lot of others but Elias is hard to beat. We have eaten at the restaurant (all you can eat) but your are usually going to wait 1- 1 1/2hr to get a seat. Bar area is usually packed and loud but the food is worth the wait.... More

After a long week of work, we drove for 40 minutes to try the Elias Inn. We arrived at 4:50pm thinking it would be early enough for immediate seating. The hostess said it would be a 35-40 min wait. After an hour of sitting at the bar watching others who came in after us get seated my wife inquired as... More

We went out to our favorite restaurant for prime rib, but they were closed. We then chose Elias as our backup. We're we so pleasantly surprised to find the BEST prime rib was at Elias! We'll be back very soon.
