Visiting friends in Cheyenne and drove by this place and decided I'd come back and have dinner. Was awesome food great service and an awesome amount of "ranch" charm.

I haven't been back in awhile BUT I had to come because a jazz band was performing here Saturday night. The music is usually skewed more towards the country style but Saturday April 1 the Jane Robinette Quartet performed and it was nice! They put on a nice evening of music which accompanied my dinner. I myself had a belated... More

If you're in Wyoming, don't miss the best lobster around. It's a deep fried tail and it's delicious. Not greasy like you'd expect it to be. Dripping with flavor and a must have if you're there. You don't go to Little Bear for the service. The service is kind of slow but the food is definitely worth it.

If you're craving a steak and want an authentic western experience, Little Bear is a great stop. Tasty steaks and a nice mix of seafood faves. Our NC guests loved the steak sandwich and ribeye. I prefer fish and enjoyed the stuffed trout. It was a large portion, so it came home for Saturday's lunch. Earlier in the week the... More

The food was 2.5 hours. The meals were wrong. Some never got their meals. If the meals that weren't wrong were cooked poorly. Terrible experience for our group. Only one waitress for 30 people. A bad experience all around

This nugget of a classy restaurant is just north of Cheyenne in the country and has been in operation for several decades. The service is great and the food exceptional. Especially the rib eye which is a very generous cut. Also recommend the Rocky Mountain Oysters as a starter. Great for date night.

My wife and I went to Little Bear at around 5:30 on Saturday - we were greeted quickly and seated - waitress struggled with the daily specials and soup of the day - we ordered mixed drinks and we ordered house salads, trout (grilled and stuffed) - the drinks and salads arrived quickly - our trout meals arrived - both... Have eaten here several times while visiting relatives in Cheyenne. You have to walk past a smoky bar to get to the dining room...yuk! Waitress Tina was awesome very friendly. The food was just bland tasteless and unappealing. Several of the bread roll things were stale and hard. Salad dressing the blue cheese tasted off and the ranch really had... More

Besides this place being out in the middle of nowhere, you should also know they allow SMOKING in the building!! Gross! That alone means I will never go back. They also have taxidermy animals on the walls. :( That was off-putting to me. The parking lot is very eroded gravel/dirt so watch for that instead of tearing up your car... More
