We were visiting family in the Kona area over Thanksgiving and when Saturday rolled around we were craving something that wasn't turkey. After determining that the four of us liked fish and chips; my sister and I went to Keoki's to get takeout. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have a license for beer and wine because I... Great fresh fish and other sandwiches! Fun atmostphere to sit out back with bistro tables, cats, chickes, a cockatoo, wind chimes and bird feeders. Inside front area items for sale from local artists.

We were driving around and stopped because the place looked quaint. And it is: a cockatoo, cats, Chickens, outside covered patio seating surrounded by plants and fruit trees. The fish and chips were the best I've ever had, and my husband had fresh ono tacos, which he really enjoyed. What a great find this restaurant was!

The fish and chips were delicious. The restaurant gets fresh fish on a regular basis and you can tell. The wait staff was very friendly. One of our most pleasing quick meals in Kona.

We drive by this place often, and finally stopped. It is a nice enough place, and we thought we would try the fish and chips. The fish was dry, and didn't have much flavor. The chips were ok. Disappointed, probably won't stop there again, too many other options.

We arrived Hilo on the cruise ship Star Princess and share a rental car with a fellow passengers to travel from Hilo to Kona. When we passed this road side café at Captain Cook and decided to give it a try. We were surprised how good the fish and chip tasted. We were glad that we had a chance to... More

We stopped by for lunch on Saturday in the early afternoon after Honaunau snorkeling and were the only patrons at first. Super friendly service, and we were seated on the back deck, which had a really welcoming vibe, like th0s is a place for locals, with mini chairs for the keiki and a parrot or makaw (who seemed a little... Read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor. They just moved next door. More room and added dining area out back. The fish and chips are still as good as advertised. The plate and a half is more than enough for 2. Great food still priced reasonable. Will return a second time this trip.

I had passed this Cafe to and from snorkeling at Two Steps several times, but after a great few hours in the water, we were hungry and pulled into the lot. We were greeted graciously. When we asked about the fish and chips, the hostess suggested we try the order-and-a-half option for be shared by the two of us. Spot... More

My wife and I stopped in to Keoki's right after they moved. I think it may have been their first day at the new place. The service was friendly and efficient but seemed a bit awkward like it was a new opening. We went with the 1 1/2 Portion of the Fried Fish. The fish was good but we thought... More

Description
About 24 miles south of Kona International Airport...on Mamalahoa Hwy. Absolutely the BEST fish and chips ANYWHERE. Fresh, light batter, chips are thinly sliced and delicious. We have gone there several times on each of our last 3 vacations to the Big Island. Great little place to stop.
