Good food, everyone makes you feel welcome, a good old-fashioned diner that's been popular with locals and tourists for many years. We return each time we visit Hilo. We ate breakfast and dinner here on several occasions.

We actually ate a Ken’s twice during our time in Hilo. Lots of choices of food. Friendly staff and quick service. Popular place as it was busy both times there.

We visited here for our first breakfast in Hilo recommended by our Airbnb host. We were not disappointed. They have everything! The portion sizes are huge compared to the likes of South Africa. Most menu prices range between 12 - 18USD. My husband had the...More

Okay, it's not the best atmosphere and parking can be a little tricky, but it's a really good restaurant and everyone is friendly. It's kind of like a diner, with so many choices it will take you some time to decide. Eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, vegetarian...More

It's famous, it's pancakes, it's delicious. Loco moco is good, better with the corned beef hash. I think everything is better with the corned beef hash. You could eat here everyday for a month and still not have tried it all. Great place, great breakfast.

We love quirky local places & Ken's fits the bill. Think Denny's, but comfortable & Hawaiian, full of locals. We appeared to be the only tourists there, which was great. The loco moco was delicious & filling, & the pancakes with macadamia huge & yummy....More

I'm not sure of the average price, because they have tons of options. It is a family restaurant, but prices at any restaurant in Hawaii generally are higher than many places on the mainland.
