Good food in a beautiful setting. The happy hour prices are a real bargain. Sit under the open roof or on the beach with your feet in the sand. Take a break and jump into the ocean for swimming or snorkeling!

We were staying at the hotel very Lava Lava is for about a week, so we had many meals there and drinks etc. The service was really bad. We had one good waiter, 2 ok, many that were really poor and one very rude bar tender. The service was so slow. Once orders were taken the food would arrive fast... More

Not only are the views unbeatable -- the food is great and they make the best Mai tai on the island. What do we think of LavaLava? Suffice to say we've eaten lunch there 5 times in seven days!!!

On our recent visit to the Big Island we actually ate here twice: New Year's Eve and about a week later. The menu is pretty diverse with a good selection of creative cocktails and beer as well. The setting keeps us coming back again and again with a fantastic view over A-bay. Be sure to make reservations within 30 minutes... More

The food, the view and the atmosphere at this spot is fantastic! The Ginger cocktail was delicious, the fish tacos, and the chicken burger were well made and we LOVED our time here. Make a reservation, it gets very busy and is right on the beach. You will love it.

Such a fun surprise for my husband to take me here. It was the most romantic staying on the actual beach in these limited cute cottages. We loved riding the bikes to and from the market and really spent the majority of our time on the veranda of the cottage and on the beach. If you are stressed and want... More

Great location. Food was good. Only weird thing was the water tastes like dirty stale water. We did not drink the water, seemed it was maybe the ice? We could still taste the funk in our other drinks that had ice. Good was good, service was friendly and quick. Overall recommend.

You always pay more to eat on the beach which is why this restaurant is a little pricey. Then again, compared to the restaurants at local resorts and other restaurants in Waikoloa Village, it is not. I am a vegetarian so the menu was somewhat limited for me since it features seafood. However, what I did order was certainly high... More

We have eaten here twice and both the service and food were consistently very good. This place is an outstanding value by comparison to prices at surrounding restaurants. There is a nice vegetarian choice but for a vegan most of the available options in the menu will be in the appetizers section. But for the volume of their musicians, I... More
