Spent my last night up in Hanalei with co-workers and decided to eat at Bouchons which turned out to be a great decision! The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs and the drinks and food came out quickly. I had the fish...More

We went for diner there. Downstairs is a menu which describes lunch menu on the left, diner on the right. Prices are quiet different so watch out. When the waiter brought the food, no "enjoy" etc. just put it on the table. The burger was...More

Were sorry the dinner menu has different prices. Generally, dinner menus entrees do have more to offer than a burger thus the price difference.

Last night (Friday) I went in for some sushi and the place was about 20% full. I was told they do not seat at the sushi bar anymore because it distracts the sushi chef and someone previously had consumed too much alcohol. I was really...More

We are sorry you did not care for the rice. It is rare to get a comment about rice that reflects all the sushi selection. Nigiri is but a very small part of our sushi menu. Wish an attempt was made to try our fresh...More

We’ve been to Hanalei many times over the years and never visited Bouchons so we took the plunge. In short we will never go back. Where should I start? Long wait for a table despite many being open, first sign of incompetent staff. Ordered Saki...More

The 'Bus' Boy is 14 and the owners son. We are glad we can have him work as well as he does. It is better than doing video games! We are sorry you thought our staff was incompetent. Actually, the staff was very short that...More

My wife enjoyed her Special which consisted of chicken, coconut shrimp, fish and a rib, however, my fish taco was dry and rubbery. The venue was nice, on the second floor overlooking the street with an open view. The atmosphere inside was lively. Service was...More

I loved the sushi but my wife's order that had shrimp in the title had 2 small shrimp and 2 giant pieces of fish that were very fishy tasting. The salsa that was over the rice was amazing but overall I know you can find...More

Sitting in the breezeway and enjoying the view was lovely. I loved the star fruit placed by the orchid plant for decoration. It looked like a still life painting. The crab cakes were delicious.

We both had the mahi mahi wrap ... and we both LOVED the mahi mahi wrap! Regular and sweet potato fries were both yummy. Jamie's wonderful service (along with helpful local tips) was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!!!

Went during lunch. Very mediocre and over priced for what you get. They have good service and convenient location. I would go to/recommend one of the other restaurants given the choice at lunch. Tourist Trap.

No, we are not a tourist trap. Since then, most likely you have seen where the real tourist traps are!

It really depends on the time of day and the size of the party (if you are a couple, you can sit on the desirable seats by the window openings, if available). Our favorite trick is to arrive about 5:15 (when dinner service... More
