Had the aloha tacos and coconut shrimp and they were hands down some of the best I've ever had! If your in the area definitely give them a try!

We used to enjoy the garlic shrimp. Now they put red pepper flakes in and you cannot even taste the garlic. Won't be going back!

We love shrimp and fish and decided to try Savage Shrimp. It's just really a store front with two small tables inside and a couple outside. Mostly take out I guess. The shrimp is cooked in the shell with the various seasoning outside. Pretty messy when you peal the shells off the shrimp with most of the seasoning. The fried... More

We ordered at 7:45 when they close at 8:00 pm. We had a long wait, they ran out of rice and then they burned the coconut shrimp. It seemed like they ran out of food and patience to cook it. Eat at the burger joint around the corner if you are looking for any easy outdoor dining place in this... More

My wife and I decided to grab some shrimp and head to the beach. She had read about this place before we got here and we weren't disappointed. The major downside to our visit was that they were out of the supplies needed to make the delicious garlic a fries that we had heard so much about.

You can choose the sauce, fried or grilled, spices, etc. They are all delicious and fresh. It is limited open air seating but a fun place for a quick meal.

Sorry to say, but the shrimp was over cooked, and I really don't get The point of cooking it in the shell, since all the flavor is on the shell which needs to be peeled. It was just ok---although the tiny amount of coleslaw was pretty good.

My husband and I have eaten here several times over the years. The food is delicious and cooked to order. It is a take out restaurant. There is VERY limited outdoor seating, and the bathroom was filthy! If you are staying nearby, you should probably take it home to eat.

Savage Shrimp is much better than Shrimp Station, which seemed to have received exceedingly high review rating for reasons that I do not understand. I went to Savage Shrimp and ordered the Fire Shrimp. It was delicious and the spicy taste was just about right to my liking. I would recommend anyone in the area to try it out but... More

We had eaten at Shrimp Station in Lihue and had such a good meal we thought we would try something similar. The garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp were just ok. The fish and chips were excellent... so that would be a go to if I were to go back. Service was quick.
