We love Thai food. And, thankfully, we have an awesome Thai place near our house in Kennesaw, GA... but this place... wow wow wow!! We've been in HI for a week and a half and have tried a couple of Thai places... the others were nothing to write home about... but this one... OMG- sooo good!!! I had the Panang... More

This little gem in located across the street from the cannery that contains several restaurants and a kombucha bar. The woman who owns it does all the cooking and the quality of the food is excellent. There is a pretty patio with a view of the neighbors' chickens who provided much entertainment as they climbed the tree. Bring long sleeves... More

I typically don't give out a 5 star rating unless the service is as good as the food. This place came recommended by our Airbnb hosts and was an excellent choice for the quality of food. The service however was a little lacking, as we had to search out our own cups and get our own water. The waitress was... More

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Large portions do not disappoint. The lemongrass chicken was a hit with the kids and nothing was overly spicy if you didn't want it to be. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked.

Haiku might not be your first stop in Maui, but this place is worth it. First, the name. By the road there is a small sign that says Turk Turk; drive into the parking lot and the sign on the building says Sala Dang Thai Kitchen. You are at the right place. The owner changed the name when she gave... More

If you are in the Haiku/Paia are, this is a *must*. It's one of those tucked-away-hole-in-the-wall places. The sign from the street says Tuk Tuk Thai, but it's new name is actually Sala Dang. It's just the lady who owns the place, and then a cook working, so expect service to take a bit longer than average sit-down restaurants. But...... More

What a great find. Half the fun was following the guidance system fro Kapalua! We loved everything we had starting with chicken satay. So tender and the sauce was beautifully complimented by a fresh peanut compote. Panang and Mansuman seafood curries included snapper, salmon, ono, and shrimp cooked perfectly in a layered sauce of fresh Thai spices and coconut milk.... More

Sala Dang (formerly Tuk Tuk) is well worth the drive!! Best Thai food in Maui! Chicken satay was phenomenal! I had the fish curry (salmon,Ono, snapper, shrimp). The portions are very generous which meant we had leftovers to enjoy another day! Don't miss this hidden gem. The owners are the sweetest!

Sweet owner/cook makes excellent authentic Thai dishes. Pad Thai was superb, also loved the vegetarian spring rolls. Excellent service, warm friendly and efficient. It's easy to see why this is the best Thai food in Maui. Can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for authentic delicious Thai Cuisine made with Aloha this is the best you will find. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. We live in Haiku. 9/10 times when we dine out we go here. The owner is one of the warmest people I have ever met and this love is transferred into the meals she prepares...
