I am a ramen enthusiast I love tan tan love it, this is the only place I know of on Maui that has it. I have gone to gomate for it on oahu so many times I can't count this is not gomate! But it wasn't trash, I wasn't disappointed the flavor was decent good service, portion was OK, noodle... More

I try not to write reviews that are just complaining and negative. As a small business owner, these things don't help anyone. That being said, the food was just average, nothing special. We got a pretty decent sampling so it wasn't just one thing. A tad expensive. The service (I think the hostess is the owner) had a lot to... More

We had some time to kill in town so we decided to stop here for lunch. It was a bit early so it wasn't crowded. Our waiter was a bit hard to understand, but he knew what we wanted so it was ok. Our lunch portions were large. I ordered the Mochiko chicken and I think it could have been... More

We had a movie date for the first time in a Loooooooong time. Saw this quaint little restaurant on the way to the show. Since hubby especially loves ramen, soup, noodles, we just had to try it. He had char sui and really loved the broth - and as you know, the broth is really what these soups are all... More

We stopped to have a bowl of soup after the movie. There is nothing special about the place. It is really average. If you are hungry -you eat a bowl of soup with no memories. I guess my advice look for more memorable place. There has to be one.

The waitress was very helpful. That was the best experience. The food was truly not edible at all. The fried fish tasted of mold. The garlic on the chicken skewers was so strong that it burned your mouth. The bottles of condiments on the table were extremely sticky and greasy and you had to wash your hands after using them.... Tempura batter was not fully cooked, still sticking with the shrimp. The owners are Chinese so they deep fried the tempura in Chinese way instead of authentic Japanese way. Well, it's not easy to make authentic Japanese tempura. Udon was not the real Japanese udon and it didn't give the special chewy taste. The Japanese dumplings are deep fried instead... More

At the Maui Mall across from the movie theatre and Fun Factory arcade. Went there after seeing the latest Bond flick. I ordered the Michiko Chicken, Spring Rolls and cold tofu. My son had the fried mahi mahi and my mom had the Char Sui ramen. It was a good meal for after the movie. Large portions and tasty as... More
