Nice to have a taste of home while on vacation. The outdoor patio is very relaxing. Stop if you are in need of your Starbucks fix!

A predictable experience for this large coffee shop chain - we went here after our local favorite spot was closed for renos. It's what you would expect from any Starbucks - I personally prefer to support local coffee shops.
We are Starbucks frequenters and have visited our favorite coffee chain in dozens of states and at least 6 different countries (e.g. England, Austria, Switzerland). We've never had service as poor as we received at this location. Only one barista working at 8;30AM with a line well out the door. Other employees just plain rude, except to the locals they... More
Pretty much what you'd expect at Starbucks. Good carmel macchiato. Orange cranberry scone dry. Enjoyed the outside seating. Did not enjoy the reluctance of employees to be helpful beyond conducting the transaction. The friendly island ambience does not seem prevalent here.
Girl making the drinks was too busy chatting with her friend to do her job right. Handed me my iced drink without a lid only problem is there are no lids for iced drinks in the sugar area. She then acts irritated when I ask where's the lids? Guess you have to be a local.

We stopped for breakfast. The line was long. The baristas handled it well; friendly and efficient, they were organized and dealt well and quickly with the crowd. Indoor and outdoor seating. Easy parking. Drinks and food consistent with expectations.
It's always nice to spot a Starbucks when traveling and this Kihei Coffee shop meets the need! The pastry was similar to those in Seattle, The home of Starbucks, and the latte was made exactly right! A friendly staff keeps the line moving!
The service was polite and friendly. Cons Frustrated that several sandwich types in the display they didn't even have. Seriously don't show it if you don't have it. Or at least putt a little sold out sign. Better yet make sure you have adequate inventory. Sitting outside is no fun because this starbucks is next to the major road. So... More
