Noodles. Not sure why else you would come. The Star Udon and Hapa Ramen were the best 2 dishes we got, with rich pork broth that was on the order of Japanese ramen without going to Japan for it. The hot and sour was good,...More

Great Asian cuisine, highly recommended! Make sure you order the Star Udon, reminds me of broth from Authentic Japanese Ramen restaurants in Japan and Japan Town in Los Angeles!

Delicious! We want to try everything on the menu. We had the Ahi and it was so fresh. Then, the Vietnamese Crepes, which were bursting with flavor. Didn’t need a 3rd, but tried the Hot and Sour noodle bowl-not for the faint of heart with...More

We ended up ordering everything on the menu, and the service was absolutely fantastic. I wish they were located somewhere closer, because nothing compares to star noodle.

We couldn't get a reservation for the entire week we were there...but they put us on a waiting list and texted us when they had an opening! Fantastic food, great service!

It's a sham that this place is ranked in the 40's of top top restaurants, when seeing what precedes it. TripAdvisor reviewers used to be a bit more discerning than what one might find on Yelp etc. The food here is consistently good. Flavorful and...More

Fortunately my wife and I eat late lunches or early dinners at the Star. This is the least busy time of the day. Most complaints are about the wait for a table. Our many experiences are that we love most all of the food selections...More

The food, the drinks, the staff (except the lady taking reservations on the phone at times :-) are freaking amazing. And more affordable than most restaurants in Lahaina.

Tip #1 - make reservations. This place, despite being in the industrial area of Lahaina, has caught on and is really busy. The best we could do was an 11 am reservation at the bar 4 days in advance (we were there during Spring break)....More

Yes. My nephew and his wife took their one year old with no problems. I would make a reservation though or go at an off time as otherwise there can be a long wait that would be difficult for children.

They have booster seats, no menu options for kids however. They do have milk for a kids drink but that's about it. I brought my 2yo son and he didn't care for the noodles to eat but that's just him. We loved it.
