Kimo's has been a Maui tradition for us every visit over past 38 years. Celebrated a friends birthday this trip. The coconut shrimp is outstanding as is the Prime Rib🤙. Employees friendly. The atmosphere and views at sunset are some of best in the islands....More

We would highly recommend visiting Kimos for a meal when in Maui, it was definetly our favourite meal of our honeymoon due to a combination of incredible Hawaiian food and a perfect sea view. The staff are very friendly and helpful with suggestions, try and...More

Very casual place - just ok on the food. Lots of fried options. Drinks weren't that great either - probably good if you like burger places!

Mai Tai's are $5 each every day during happy "hour" which runs from noon to 5PM. We got there just before 5PM and then ate some of the best fish on the island. If you park in the city lots close to Hilo Hatties, Kimo's...More

This is the best place to come for great food and atmosphere. Our table was outside right by the water. Ordered the shrimp appetizers to start. They were delicious! The rest of the lunch was very good, and the wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable....More

I guess this is the original out of a whole family of restaurants (we also tried Leilani's and Hula Grill). Warning, they all have very similar menus! We wanted to save room for the Hula Pie so we opted to just share the prime rib...More

Food very good and surroundings stunning but the place was open and very, very warm. There wasn't even a ceiling fan. The ruined the meal.

Not sure about music during lunch hours on Sunday. We were there in the late afternoon. It is a lovely spot though overlooking the water.

We had them for lunch. Ask when you make a reservation or try Leilani's on Ka'anapali Beach or Dukes near Honokowai. They both have killer fish tacos.

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
