Celebrated my anniversary dinner here after getting rained out on Sunday. Kimo's was recommended by a friend, and she was right! Had the grilled mahi mani, Kimo's style. Wow! The rice pilaf is awesome, the mahji mahji was tender, very tasty and excellent. My wife...More

Dinner on the terrace at sunset is the best. Heavy on the fresh seafood...your waiter will explain the various preparations. Check out the hula pie for dessert. One piece will easily serve 2.

We ate at Kimo’s one night after the Ulalena show. It is a nice atmosphere and great seating upstairs overlooking the water. Our waitress seemed nice at first but when we didn’t order drinks she seemed annoyed that we just wanted water. Anyway no big...More

Had a wonderful sunset dinner. The fish was cooked to perfection and I went for the baked potato with the works. Wife and I split a Hula Pie and we still couldn’t finish the darn thing.

One of the worst restaurants we have eaten from. They do offer takeout, but the food is awful. Don't do it!

We had an early dinner as we had our 2 year old granddaughter. We had a beautiful Ocean view, and were surprised to see the early bird special, which was a 3 course meal between 4:30 and 5:30. Appetizer, Main course with veggies, and dessert....More

Kimo’s has been around for a long time and it shows. Locals as well as visitors enjoy their food, service, and location each and every night. Their bar and staff are #1 on the island and servers are quite personable. Look up Bon for a...More

Had dinner here without a reservation. It was quite early in the evening as we have a 4 year old grandson. The restaurant was quite busy nevertheless. We had a table upstairs with a limited ocean view. The food was quite good without being exceptional...More

Absolutely! When I was there is June there were quite a few families. The staff is very friendly, so you would not feel at all out of place with your children!

We had them for lunch. Ask when you make a reservation or try Leilani's on Ka'anapali Beach or Dukes near Honokowai. They both have killer fish tacos.

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
