We read great things about Kimo's, but it was the worst meal we had on Maui. The waitress was slow and without personality. The drinks were good, but slow. The Tahitian shrimp was very dry and tasteless. The cocktail sauce was the only thing that...More

My wife and I had dinner at Kimo's our last night in Maui. We usually pick a nicer place than say Bubba Gump (which we liked for a casual meal). Kimo's reminded us of Huggo's on the Big Island, which we also did as our...More

Absolutely! When I was there is June there were quite a few families. The staff is very friendly, so you would not feel at all out of place with your children!

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
